MEET OUR OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Amber Wiggins
Meet Dr. Amber Wiggins, an enthusiastic optometrist with over 15 years of rich experience in both optometry and ophthalmology! Her journey began with a strong desire to help patients understand the connection between their systemic and ocular health. After graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, she honed her skills in a pediatric residency in Arkansas and then proudly returned to North Carolina, providing remote care services to patients across multiple states. Dr. Wiggins is not just dedicated to her craft; she’s also pursuing a fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry and has achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Optometry. She has a special passion for pediatrics and special populations, with experience in managing ocular conditions and vision disorders common among neurodivergent individuals and those with developmental differences. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Wiggins loves to travel, go on cruises, and cherish moments with her family and friends. She’s excited to bring her expertise and warm approach to your eye care journey!
